You can have a permanent option with a physical mod. You can use a trinket m0 board as a mod on unpatched units. For patched units, and Mariko (v2 and Lite) units, you can use the SX Core/Lite. The reason why there's not a permanent cfw like on 3ds is the same reason others have said, you totally block off all legitimate online functions.
Please note this is an extremely rare case and doesn't usually happen. In most places, they will only have Mariko and no Erista switches, even if we ignore that newer eristas are also patched. Near release date is probably unpatched. Just run RCM exploit with the jig and inject Hekate.
First I checked the serial on box, on device and in settings menu and all match correctly. As far as I know Pikachu edition Switches were released on November 2018.
