Oct 27, 2020 · The Harlem Renaissance was a historic decade of expression by black, mainly working-class people through many forms of art. It reveals a lot about the relationship between economics, politics, oppression and struggle. Its legacy is still felt, and recent studies continue to reconsider its significance and its politics.
