Lament combo is incredibly strong, usually healing you out of the incoming damage and boss stomps. You can tank both bosses with it. You can air combo the Rm80 shank relatively safely with it, etc. the sword is still so good. Don’t get me wrong, passive guard is amazing, but lament by the only sword it doesn’t feel mandatory on.

Lament helps counteract that, by fighting against the momentum of the shield it prevents around 90% of all Architect deaths in my run. While any sword will help counteract this, Lament also stacks with all of the solar 3.0 buffs as well, making it very useful. Hope this helps!
