At my 37 week appointment, I was told 70-80% effaced, 1 cm. 38 wk - same. 39 wk - 80% effaced, a "good" 1 cm. 40w1d - told I was the same by a different OB, but my cervix might not actually be open (only the outer part is dilated). 40w5d - told my cervix is definitely open and I'm the same 1 cm, 80% effaced.
